This is one of my first photographs taken when I was learning to use a DSLR, and on my first wildlife safari in the wilds of Kabini, Karnataka. Every time I look at this photograph it brings back a rush of memories – trepidation and elation went to war over my first ever sighting of the majestic Bengal tiger. My first two safaris had drawn a blank and anticipation was now at a fevered pitch. The enforced silence. The mounting tension. And then a rustling in the bushes. The sounds of alarm from the other animals in the forest. Out walked this majestic lady, eyes dripping with disdain for us, her unworthy subjects. If you want to experience attitude in motion, look no further than the female of the felis tigris. She graced us for no more than a minute but left behind a memory that I can still call on at will.

Bengal Tigers are the most solitary animal. They are very possessive about their territory.but due to clashes with humans ,they are loosing their domains.
